If there is a running theme in this blog, it's ... s l o w i n g d o w n ...
Life races by while you're living it If one doesn't make a point to savor the moments, hours, days, weeks.
Here is where I am at now:
- Health issues flared up, but I have hope. I'm stronger than yesterday.
- I think about this spring's garden a lot. (I will have some extra catnip and rhubarb and hollyhocks, maybe chives and peppermint and a few other herbs, for some local family and friends. Denise and Donna, you're at the top of the list.)
- I have been in the grocery store only twice in several months.
- Rob has done all the shopping, most of the cleaning, and the majority of cooking ... in addition to working.
- Not many photos have been taken lately, nor video nor audio, a little writing. The shot above is from a week ago.
- Grandma Anderson ... I miss her a lot. She's just in our sister village, yet I've been a little weak for visits. Soon. Maybe Thursday.
- As much as I love Winter, my favorite season, I am looking forward to the vernal equinox.
- Communications that I want to respond to keep piling up. I am doing pretty good at replying to comments on the original post. Sorry that I can't email everyone individually.
- If any family is reading this: I love you. I'm sorry that I have a phone aversion. I think about all of you every day.
- I am a month behind on a postcard project for which I signed up. I am trying not to feel ashamed, and I will complete the project when I can and with passion.
- Birds singing in the morning, earlier, is making me so very happy.
- X is growing up and makes me proud each day.
- As of March 15, the Bald Eagle barrier is lifted and I can hike more of the river banks again.
- I hope to share more about where I live, specifically, and not in just a vague, Madison-area way.
