I know that I don't usually participate in challenges here, so please feel free to pass by if this isn't your thing. The time just feels right to let go of a little control and take part in a life-balancing, dreams-come-true workshop. Eventually, these updates will only appear on Sundays as I get caught up with the other participants. (The first post is HERE; I will add to that list throughout the year.)
As part of this project, I am to list my life categories, which are basically: health/self-care, relationships, abundance, authenticity, concepts/projects and exploration/education, and then to create an intention statement. The challenge is very flexible, so I have listed things that I either have been doing and/or that I am trying to do more routinely to achieve my dreams. I'm not getting too detailed here because that's just the way that I am.
- This is my health/self-care. -- I do all of my health and self-care in a way that is joyful, simple, as natural as possible, and in a ritualistic way so that I can find the beauty in the mundane.
- This is how I treat my relationships. -- I want to communicate well with the people that I know and to also make sure that they know how much I care for them by keeping in touch and gathering.
- This is my abundance. -- I would like to share more of my artistic endeavors with others and I would like to find a comfortable way to do so that doesn't feel vain.
- This is my authenticity. -- I will live an authentic life, my life, and embrace what I learn about myself.
- This is how I handle my concepts/projects. -- I will make prototypes of my concepts and follow a personal, private mission statement as well as productivity practices with projects that I have already started and will have a plan for completion, or lack thereof.
- This is what I do for my exploration/education. -- I want to go to new-to-me places, both near and far, and try new things; I will always seek education, whether formally or not.
I also wrote a success list, which is part of the challenge, but I've chosen not to share it here. Most of it is boring and mundane, like clean eating and being a good mum and other such things. I acknowledge that I work really hard and I acknowledge my successes, small or large. Those are things that I need only share with myself.
Have a lovely Sunday and a good week!
